Please be advised that The Southern Tier Police Canine Association Incorporated, a not for profit association IS CURRENTLY conducting telephone solicitations. 

     In response to the recent news articles the Southern Tier Police Canine Association Incorporated (S.T.P.C.A.) would like to inform the public that our Association currently has on going phone solicitations that are being conducted to raise funds for on going projects.  These projects included purchasing and training Police Service Dogs for area law enforcement agencies, purchasing and donating equipment for our area Police Service Dogs such as body armor for the dogs, identification collars for the dogs along with equipment for the training of Police Service Dog Teams in our communities.  Funds raised by donation are also used to provide medical treatment for our Police Service Dog partners that many law enforcement agencies are unable to provide for the dogs due to budget constraints. 

     The S.T.P.C.A. was established over twenty-five years ago to provide support to our area law enforcement agencies that were unable to provide enough budgetary funds to fully support their Police Service Dog Teams.  The S.T.P.C.A. is not affiliated with the United States Police Canine Association.  The S.T.P.C.A has been based in Broome County, New York since its inception and is registered with New York State and the Federal Government as a non profit charitable organization.

     The S.T.P.C.A. has members that work for various law enforcement agencies in the Counties of Broome, Tioga, Chenango and Tompkins, and members both nationally and internationally.  The S.T.P.C.A. has purchased, trained and donated over eighteen Police Service Dogs to the following law enforcement agencies:  Binghamton Police Department, Johnson City Police Department, Vestal Police Department, Broome County Sheriff’s Department, Tioga County Sheriff’s Department, and the Chenango County Sheriff’s Department.

      The directors of the S.T.P.C.A. would encourage the public to verify who they choose to make donations to and invite the public to visit the Southern Tier Police Canine Association Incorporated web site at www.southerntierpolicek9.com for additional information on our association.   The S.T.P.C.A. would not be able to provide this service to our communities without the kind donations from the public.

     This is Bill Morgan from the Northeastern Advertising calling on behalf of the Southern Tier Police Canine Association Incorporated serving Broome, Chenango, Tioga and Tompkins Counties, how are you?  I’m a Professional Solicitor and we’re getting ready to hand out our official Police K-9 Calendar & Buyer’s Guide all throughout the area.  The monies received will help to acquire equipment needed for Canine Training Seminars and to assist in obtaining new canines for agencies and to purchase Canine Bullet Proof Jackets.
